Storing
When not wearing your pearls, you should store them flat and not hang them. This will help prevent the silk from stretching.

If you are like me, though, I like to hang my necklaces, as it keeps them from getting all tangled together (or maybe you don't have that problem). But for your necklaces or bracelets, you'll keep them looking better by not stretching the silk, thereby increasing the amount of time between restringing.
